The Italians have won every single game of the first round of the Europa League.
They will face the Russians in the quarter-finals.
Champions Juventus are the clear favourites to win the competition with a commanding lead in the standings.
They were beaten by Milan in the first leg of the last-16 and are only two points behind the eventual winners.
It was the third defeat of the season for the Bianconeri, but their defence looks more solid than in recent weeks, with goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon making five saves in the 2-1 defeat to Bayern Munich.
There will be a lot of pressure on Buffon to stop the Russian from scoring, especially after they scored twice in the opening 30 minutes.
Juventus’ defence was even worse in their defeat to the Germans, conceding seven goals in their first game.
The Italians were looking strong in the second leg, but conceded a late goal when their best chance came after 60 minutes.
Juventus are still in contention to finish in the top four.
Borussia Dortmund’s win over FC Porto in the Champions League semi-final last year gave them a huge boost ahead of the league title battle with Real Madrid, with the Borussia starlet Mats Hummels scoring a brace to help the side reach the final.
Dortmund’s defence was one of the reasons why Porto lost the tie 3-2 in extra time.
Porto are currently third in the Bundesliga, while Dortmund sit just behind them at fifth.
Real Madrid’s defensive frailties have cost them their Champions League quarter-final tie against Bayern Munich last season.
Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan have been the most prolific goalscorers in Europe this season, with both of those sides scoring three or more goals in each of their last two games.
But they’ve also struggled with conceding goals, with only Inter Milan’s Cristiano Ronaldo and Napoli’s Gonzalo Higuain scoring more than once this season.
